With a creamy texture, mushrooms are one of the healthiest vegetables you can consume on a keto diet. They are low in carbs, calories and fat. They contain a modest amount of fiber and is rich in potassium, magnesium, zinc and folate.

Mushrooms are extremely low in carbs. A one-cup (70-gram) serving of raw, white mushrooms contains just 2 grams of carbs, 1 of which is fiber (15).

Mushrooms, like oyster, shiitake, white button, and Portobello, are naturally low in carbohydrates, making them a keto-friendly food.
