Keto Crispy Twisted Bacon 5 ways
Ingredients
  • 150g (30 slices) Extra Thin Bacon Slices
  • 1/4 Cup Sesame Seeds
  • 1/4 Cup Grind Pork Rinds
  • 1/4 Cup Tajin
Instructions
Prepare your Bacon slices as well as seasonings
If you do not have already grind breadcrumbs, you can simply grind them either in the Magic Bullet or Coffee Grainer.
For dipping, it is best to have shallow containers, that are as long as your bacon is.
If you are not going with any seasoning, take a plain bacon stripe and start twisting it holding each end with your hand. For better understanding, check the video with full step-by-step instructions on how to do twisted bacon.
Place your Pork Rind Breadcrumbs into the longer shaped container and dip the whole bacon slice into it.
Start gently twisting, trying to make sure that you keep as many breadcrumbs on the bacon as possible. If you do have most falling down, just dipped it once again after you have fully twisted the bacon strips.
Place onto the baking sheet covered with parchment paper and continue twisting and dipping.
The exact same steps for Tajin Seasoning as it goes with Pork Rinds Breadcrumbs.
Take a stripe of bacon, dip into Tajin Seasoning from both sides and start twisting the bacon. Once fully twisted, place onto the baking sheet and continue.
Sesame Seeds are my third option and actually my preferred one. They stick onto the bacon perfectly. I would say, the best of all of the seasonings I have tried. Once twisted, place onto the baking sheet and continue.
If you have some extra seasoning as well as bacon left, mix all of the seasonings together and follow the same steps as before. Dip the bacon from both sides and twist.
Place all onto the baking sheet and bake for 30-40 minutes (depending on the thickness of your bacon) at 180C or 350 F.
Check after 25 minutes and decide if it needs to be baked much longer or it is almost ready.
