KETO GINGERBREAD HOT CHOCOLATE

INGREDIENTS
  • 3 cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar substitute (Swerve)
  • ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder, sifted
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon allspice
  • ½ teaspoon ginger
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tablespoons keto semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a medium saucepan add almond milk and heavy cream.

2. In a small mixing bowl add brown sugar, cocoa powder, cinnamon, allspice, ginger and salt. Stir to combine ingredients.

3. Add brown sugar mixture to almond milk mixture. Whisk ingredients together. Add chocolate chips.

4. Heat mixture over medium heat until hot but not boiling. Whisk frequently while heating.

5. Remove from heat. Whisk in vanilla.

6. Serve immediately. Top with keto whipped cream and sprinkle with additional cinnamon, if desired.
